The self portrait that most artists produce might be a painting or drawing of the face, often looking into a mirror. I used a camera, bending down and framing my image in a garden gazing ball! Photography captures composition, freezing time and space, marking the colour, texture and imagery to later inspire a watercolour painting, acrylic painting or an oil pastel drawing. KINGDOM CREATIONS by Colleen was born of my years studying Art at the University of Waterloo, in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada and the teaching of Art at high school levels for twelve years.
